Private Lessons

In addition to lessons for university credit, I have a limited number of openings in my home studio, where I enjoy teaching elementary-aged students through adults, who all have a variety of skill levels and flute interests.

Please contact me flutes@spu.edu for more information.

“Sandy, just a little note
to let you know how grateful I am for all
you have done for our daughter. You have
been an amazing teacher, coach, cheerleader
and benefactor and I am beyond thankful. I
will always remember your kind guidance
and support.”
— P.C.

My students are consistently placed as section leaders, drum majors, principal flutists, and earn awards at competitions and festivals, including placing 1st and 2nd in the WA State Solo Contest. Many have performed concertos with local orchestras, and are often selected for honor ensembles such as All State, All NW, WIBC, and NFA.
