Welcome to the Seattle Pacific University Flute Studio!

Directed by Sandra Saathoff, flutists in the SPU community are immersed in a variety of activities designed to develop their technical skills, musicality, knowledge, and performance practices. A comprehensive program of flute instruction is designed to meet flutists’ individual needs and broaden their musical horizons, regardless of intended major.

If you are interested in attending SPU and plan to visit the campus, please contact me to arrange an introductory lesson. You are also welcome to sit in during a flute ensemble rehearsal — it’s a great opportunity to meet other SPU students and experience a slice of flute-life on campus.

Whether you plan to major in music or not – there’s a place for you in the SPU Music Department.  We have a wonderful flute family!
